At The Doodles Home, your puppy’s health, safety, and comfort are our top priorities. Our shipping and delivery process is designed to ensure a stress-free transition for your new furry family member. This policy outlines how we handle shipping within Australia.
1. Delivery Areas
We proudly offer nationwide delivery across Australia, including major cities and regional areas. If you are in a remote location, please contact us directly to confirm availability and discuss logistics.
2. Shipping Methods
We provide two primary shipping options for our puppies:
a. Ground Transportation
Available for clients within reasonable driving distance from our facility.
Hand-delivered by our trusted pet transport partners or The Doodles Home staff.
Travel includes frequent rest stops and attentive care.
b. Air Transport
For long-distance clients, we arrange safe and comfortable domestic air transport via reputable pet-friendly airlines.
Flights are scheduled based on weather conditions and the puppy’s age/health.
Puppies are flown in climate-controlled, IATA-approved crates.
Note: We do not ship internationally. Shipping is available within Australia only.
3. Shipping Cost
Shipping costs vary based on your location and preferred delivery method.
A flat rate may apply for certain zones, while other areas are calculated individually.
You will receive a detailed shipping quote at the time of purchase or reservation.
4. Age & Health Requirements
Puppies are only shipped after 8 weeks of age and after receiving their first round of vaccinations.
A health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian will accompany every puppy.
We prioritize each puppy’s readiness and will delay shipping if weather or health conditions pose any risk.
5. Delivery Timeline
Once your puppy is ready, we will schedule a delivery or flight date in coordination with you.
Most deliveries occur within 3–10 business days after final payment and vet clearance.
You will receive tracking information or updates on the day of shipment.
6. Pickup Option
If you prefer, you are welcome to pick up your puppy in person at our location in Australia. We encourage this option for local families, as it allows you to meet us and your puppy in a comfortable setting.
7. Buyer Responsibilities
Ensure someone is available to receive the puppy upon arrival.
Provide a safe, quiet space at home for the puppy to adjust.
Follow all post-arrival care instructions provided in your puppy care kit.
8. Delays or Changes
While we strive for timely deliveries, shipping may be delayed due to weather, airline schedules, or unforeseen events.
We will maintain open communication with you throughout the process and work quickly to reschedule if needed.
